Don’t let the lessons of 2020 be swept away!


Use art & mindfulness to harvest the insights from both the joy & suffering that 2020 has offered in this free course series. Learn to make an art journal page that captures both the sweet & the sour of your year while engaging in simple expressive art activities to help you make sense of your experience.

How does it work?


Sunday December 6, 13 & 20 you will receive an email with a short video providing a creative prompt. These simple expressive art activities will have you expressing and making sense of your thoughts, feelings and body using a variety of creative mediums. Each of these prompts will slowly and gently walk you closer to the final project. No fancy materials or skills required! Just a willingness to trust the process and express.


On the final Sunday (December 27) you will receive a 1-hour course that will walk you through a process for making an art journal page capturing both the gratitude and grief that you have experienced this year. Through shape, line, colour, texture (and perhaps even a few words!) you will have captured the essence of what 2020 truly has meant for you.

Yes, all email subscribers will be invited to this course but only those that opt in will receive the weekly emails.


How much time should I dedicate to this each week?

The prompts during the first 3 weeks can be completed in 10-30 minutes. You may choose to spend more or less time, but the intention is for this to be a gentle process throughout the month.
